FINANCIAL TIPS TO WIN BIG

By Brian DeLucia

We often spend a lot of time planning vacations and parties, but why do not we spend enough time planning our financial picture and lifestyle? I believe everyone needs to spend at least 30-60 minutes each month thinking and planning about our finances.

Here are a few thoughts towards creating financial independence:

--Understand the difference between instincts and fear. Instinct is what makes us wealthy. Instinct allows us to take action. Fear is what holds many people from following their instincts to succeed. Make sure to surround yourself with those who follow instincts to succeed rather than accept less and hope for the best due to fear.

--The most critical factor for success as a household or business: Cash Flow! Cash Flow! Cash Flow!

--Forget about budgets. Just like diets, budgets do not work. Focus instead on tracking your expenses to truly understand where your money is going each month, then adjust your habits accordingly.

--Build Assets. Most of the wealthiest people build, own, or create assets. You could build a real estate portfolio, buy businesses, or join the growing number of professionals in the 21st century building network marketing organizations. These assets build true financial independence and help people reduce taxes, all which help bolster our economy.

--I believe everyone should start a home-based business. There are many great businesses that can be started for less than $1,000 with the ability to build teams of partners. Home-based business is the largest growing sector within the United States’ Economy. In many European Countries, home-based and network marketing businesses account for approximately 50 percent of their populations.

--Finance is a long-term game. The mindset of get rich quick or gambling for the big hit does not work. Finding something that you are passionate about and applying simple business-building actions daily creates stronger long-term wealth.

--Remember to lead yourself before your money. Your daily habits and personal development will determine your long-term financial and lifestyle success. Focus on building personal development organizations within whatever sector you are involved in.
